Childrens Place Clearance :) :) :) And Some Frugal Disney Finds!

So yesterday I went to the Children's Place to buy my niece a Birthday Present. While I was there I found some goodies for my babies and at a GREAT price!!!

 

 

Ok so only one of these was a good find haha the cute sun glasses were 99 cents! The lame coin purse was more than I would have ever paid but sissy was being watched by my oh so giving sissy in law and she cant say no to baby girl. lol

These shorts were $4.99 for brother. They are such great quality!

OMG and I was SOOO EXCITED to find these shirts at WAL-MART!!! Yes I said WAL-MART! They were each $7.50 and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! We are going to Disneyland this summer :):):):) and I am thrilled to have found these especially at the price I bought them at! If you have ever been to the Disney Store whooo your going to have to fork up some bucks for a T-Shirt.

My CVS Shopping Today

So today I had fun at CVS because I bought strictly beauty. I will always buy my makeup when its on sale. Makeup last me forever the stuff I go through the most is lipsticks. I was originally going to take advantage of both the CoverGirl and Almay sales this week however I did not find the Almay products I wanted and I didn't want to settle. I was really on the hunt for the BB creams. Not because I think they do all they say they do haha but because I am really wanting something with good SPF. I am not a fan of foundation especially in the summer!! The only reason I occasionally like some coverage is because I get red.

 

Soo Physicians Formula was 40% Off. Because I was using the CoverGirl sale I was also able to add the Physicians Formula and use a CVS coupon that was $4 Off a $20 cosmetic purchase.

I also got this at the coupon machine and I got to use this today as well! After every $50 you spend in the CVS Beauty Department you get $5ECB! Beauty can be shampoo, face wash, makeup, anything like that! So always give the cashier your CVS Card!

Shutterfly

So my family members have been using Shutterfly for years. If you have never heard of Shutterfly it is an online photo service. You can upload your photos and they will be stored on their site and they offer like a million different things to do with your photos. Seriously like a million lol a popular one with my family is their photo books. They seem to always be offering sales on them and they are such great quality and Soo FUN!! When I go to my Aunt Shelly's house it does not matter how many times I have already seen the books I have to look through them again. haha  So I decided that I needed to get in on this fun and especially now that we are going on vacation and these babies are growing up soo fast! I want to have as many memories documented as possible! Citrus Lane

Soo EXCITED!!! We got our Citrus Lane Box in the mail!!! This is our 2nd box and we are loving them!!! We have barely finished using our sunscreen from last months box and it was a small tube! Our sunhat we are in love with its cuteness and the Habba beach toy is a favorite bath time toy. This months box was filled with awesomeness!!!

SuperFoods.....Great Book!

Just wanted to share a book recommendation:

I found this book while organizing and I had an instant smile on my face. My dad bought me this book when my son was 3. I really love it because it has soo much information on child nutrition and has a ton of FUN recipe ideas with great pictures. I would mostly recommend this book to someone who has a new baby and really is looking into getting educated on child nutrition. I have done so much research I feel like this book for me "now" is not a good fit. However the reason I said it brought a smile to my face is because my son is my first born, and when I think back to being a first time mommy, you have soo many questions! This book is GREAT for that first time mommy!

Nike Marshalls Find

Yesterday we went to Marshalls to buy a swim shirt for little man. While I was there I was looking at the shoes and I found these AWESOME sandals from Nike for $19.99! I was soo excited because I have been wanting a pair of these for a long time, and we are going on vacation in a few weeks. I know there not very "fashionable" but I am all about comfort! I have a one year old and a soon to be five year old, I got things to do! haha

 

 

 

 

 

Swimming Lessons and Inspiration

Little Man started swimming lessons this week and I am soo proud of my little guy!!! Yesterday was just his second day and he jumped off the diving board, I could not believe how brave he was!!! I have always heard and felt that our kids teach us things from time to time and I really feel this was one of those moments. Seeing how eager he is to learn and the desire to try new things and literally just jump in, soo inspiring! The first day he was a little nervous and after hearing all the kids scream their heads off he started to doubt. haha After mama reassured him everything was OK he relaxed and started to enjoy himself. At the end of his first class they asked all the kids if they would like to jump off the diving board and he was not ready. However when he saw the other kids jumping off he told me that we wanted to and the following day he did! I am thrilled that he doesn't want to sit on the sidelines. When I was younger I was very very shy and when I see my sons energy I get soo excited because I know that he wont have to suffer from the anxiety that being shy brings.

 

I am also enjoying that we are staying active as a family. We finished T Ball in the beginning of June and I am glad that we were able to enroll our little guy in swimming shortly after. He has soo much energy and I am glad he has an outlet...

Hubby's Lunch Favorite and Children's Place Deals

The other day, while we were at Wal-Mart, the hubby had a special request for his lunches for the week. He asked for Hebrew National Hot Dogs. He LOVES these Kosher dogs! They are on the higher end price wise but I think they are worth it. If I am going to feed my family a hot dog I would rather pay the extra cash for these! I was thrilled that he asked for these because its soo easy! He heats up the hot dogs at work and I send him with a little container of chili beans. I also send him with pickles and obviously hot dog buns. If you have not tried these before I would! The flavor is delish. I don't eat meat anymore but I remember from when I did, lol and like I said before they are the Hubby's favorite hot dog!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sissy had her birthday on the 4th and she received some things from the Children's Place in the wrong size. I went to exchange them but they didn't have her size in the items I was returning. So I got these awesome things instead. I love love love the cupcake jamies!!! The shirt I love as well they match a pair of shorts she got also for her birthday. I believe the jamies were $5.99 and the shirt was $4.99. I was extremely happy about the jamies because they are very pricey at the Children's Place. $14.99 reg price or 2 for $24.00. Yikes!

Sister is now 1

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We had Sisters 1st birthday on 4th of July, I cant believe my baby is 1! We have been soo busy this past week. It seems like I have not been on here in forever. Last Saturday we had my nephews birthday and I made cupcakes and cake pops for him, then I had to get ready for Sisters birthday. We had a great day and we watched an AMAZING firework show at our local golf course.


I feel so bad for my baby girl she is getting soo many teeth at once and I can tell she is hurting. :(   I am trying to make her as comfortable as possible. She is now drinking her almond milk from a bottle. I use to give it to her in a sippy cup but she seems to like a bottle better.

 

 She got some plush Yo Gabba Gabba toys from her birthday. She LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba! Her daddy found them at the grocery store and brought them home for me to wrap. Daddy knows his little girl!

 

I love this musical activity walker she got!

 

 

My hubby is soo AWESOME!! We are going on vacation soon and he bought me a new camera! He knows I have been wanting one forever my old one was a used one and worked ok but I LOVE my new camera!!!

Macaroni Chicken Bake

So here is a recipe that my husband LOVES!!!! He is such a sucker for anything cheesy! lol  This is an adult version of mac and cheese!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First boil your noodles. I am using what I had in my panty, it really doesn't matter what kind, use what your family likes!

Next I diced my chicken breast into cubes. Add to skillet with about 1 1/2 cups of water, half chopped onion, and some minced garlic. Bring everything to a boil and leave on high for about 2 min.

 

 

After bring down to a simmer and cover it for about 20-25 min.

While meat is simmering, drain water from noodles after they are cooked. Add your cheese, I used extra sharp cheddar. Add as much or little as you want. Mix well and also add tablespoon of butter.

After you have let your chicken simmer, bring back up to a boil until water is gone.

Add chicken to pasta and then mix well.

Add mixture to casserole dish.

You can see I used the Safeway brand Italian Style bread crumbs. You can add whatever you like, sprinkle a light layer on top of mixture.

For some added goodness add some shredded cheese on top of bread crumbs (this is optional)

Bake at 350 for about 30 min. I only back mine for 20 because my husband does not like it fully baked.
