Birthday Filled Weekend

This weekend was a ton of FUN. My Momma and Hubby share the same birthday! My sister came down from out of town and we were able to celebrate my moms birthday on Saturday. Sunday is always the same for us because it's always the day we go to church. After church Sunday we got some of my husbands favorite dinner food and had a yummy dinner. Such a simple weekend but it was filled with LOVE and that's the best!

My Very Talented Momma ( Hubby's Mom)

So my momma is Super Talented! She loves creating things! She gets a vision and runs with it! So I wanted to share just one of the many awesome things she has done. She has been painting murals for years now and this one she painted in the Sunday School classroom. I LOVE the way it turned out!

Matthews First Field Trip!

This Friday was Matthew's First Field Trip and it was at the Pumpkin Patch! One of the things that I love about homeschooling through K12 is you can attend the school events that they put together. Our experience at the field trip was a GREAT one!!! I explained to Matthew that all the kids that were at the field trip did homeschool just like him. He does not know anyone else that homeschools so loved knowing that those kids were like him and homeschooled. They even took a class picture.

The Pumpkin Patch we attended was BEAUTIFUL!!!! We also had a little picnic there after the field trip was over. Matthew learned about how a Pumpkin grows and he learned a little bit about Native Americans.

A Relaxing Weekend

Oh my it feels like forever since I have been on my blog!! It has been pretty crazy around here. We recently moved (YAY) we LOVE our new home. With moving we were without internet for 6 days! Now that were are settled in I am very excited because it is starting to cool down, Fall is in the air and it feels sooo good! I just love this weather and the Holidays are coming up. I cant wait to decorate for Christmas!!!

So this weekend we just hung out! We had multiple family nights relaxing and catching up on some of our family shows. We LOVE the show the Goldbergs!!! You can watch it on ABC but we watch it via Hulu. Another one of our favorites it Last Man Standing!

Saturday the Hubby threw some chicken and shrimp on the Bar-B-Q and we had tostadas. They were delish!!!

We also had an AWESOME time at church!!!
